THE TETONS TRIP!!!!!! thank you, dad. it was a wonderful trip!!! i loved the entire experience! it was such a challenge & i loved sharing the feeling of accomplishment with you! thanks for spending that time with us & making such a sacrifice to come be with us. it means a lot to me - all the sacrifices you & mom make (and have made) for us kids. we really have been blessed to have a family (and parents) who have given us such great opportunities in life. i really cherish these memories. they are my favorite times. i love spending time with you & mom. i am very, very grateful for the incredible opportunities & experiences you've provided for us kids. thanks again. it really was a wonderful experience. love you lots & lots & lots!!!

No, what you had wasnt a helmet, it was definately something different, something you give a special person, hence helmut.
In contrast to Heather's view, I will try to block out my memory of arriving at the parking lot! Here's why...we got up at 3 am...climbed until 10:30 am. Began our descent shortly thereafter...stopped to take down our camp...and finished our descent at just before midnight--that would equate to about a 12 hour descent--with the last few hours in the dark--and a 20 hour day. Yes...reaching the parking lot was a cause for celebration...even though I was far too exhausted and sore to celebrate!
