Hello all! We hope Spring has found everyone - we are relishing in 60-70 degree weather here in Rochester, welcome change upon arriving back from Spring Break. Mark and I decided to go on a 'babymoon' - one last hurrah before the little munchkin arrives. We spent a week on the beach on the norther coast of the Dominican Republic. We came back sooo rested and relaxed...ready for the busy 3.5 months to follow!
Highlights include:
Breakfast served on the porch of our cabana every morning - where we could sit and
look out at the ocean just a few yards away.
The most amazing golf course Mark may every golf on - 18 holes along the coast complete with 180 foot cliffs and crashing waves! I rode along for the ride and loved watching that beautiful swing and driving the gorgeous course.
Lots of swimming - the little lady poking out of the water of course :)
The cave excursion in El Choco National Forrest - swimming in the cave was by far the coolest part. Andres came along for the day trip (Austrian working in Haiti - stayed in the cabana next door). Followed by dinner in an amazing Thai restaurant.
So handsome!
The whole of our time really was spent reading, swimming, reading baby names books, talking, playing paddle ball and fr
isbee and taking the occasional trip to Cabarete for dinner.

Great that you could take a break from your otherwise busy lives! Looks like you picked a fantastic location. Hadn't heard of the Pebble Beach of the Caribbean--but the pictures don't lie! The cave expedition looks like it was really memorable! Mostly glad you could get away and relax--the next 100 days will be a whole new chapter! love, dad
That looks like such a fun trip. I am glad you could splurge a little on yourself before the baby comes. I want to know what Leanna asked---did you find a name? Your baby belly looks adorable Lib. The caves adventure looks like great fun.
