We're finally in - it took me awhile to remember the password for one of Heather's many gmail accounts, but I remembered. Sorry it's taken so long to post on this wonderful new family blog. Looks like I have some reading to do to catch up on events and...cows? Anyways, the blog looks great, thanks for putting it together guys!

Okay, so now that I have actually read the article--it makes Afghanistan look much worse than imagined. Mom and I saw The Kite Runner--and saw the desperate conditions in the country--but the movie (which was a must-see)didn't begin to tell this story. Dad
