Conference Take aways

I feel bad that we missed so much conference, but am grateful that I can still take it in via downloads. It's so convenient to load the talks onto my ipod. Anyway, I only was able to watch Saturday am and Saturday pm (priesthood meeting).

I thought Elder Perry's talk on "Walden Pond" was perfect for our time. My take away was that we will be richly blessed by stepping back from our hectic lives, see solace and spirituality, back away from materialism, and seek the peaceable things in life. I am absolutely certain the talk had an abundance of truths that we can each benefit from--and I look forward to reading and listening to the talk again.
