TURKEY!!

Well, it's that time again...time for a new post! Since I don't have anything profound to say I'll just share what's on the plate for next week. We'll be starting things out with a bang. Well, hopefully the term 'bang' has nothing to do with how things will actually go, but on Tuesday I get to have my first colonoscopy. yipeee (monotone yippe that is). I've heard the actual procedure isn't to bad because you are out like a light...I'm just a bit nervous for the prep. OH well. So getting the results of that should be interesting and tell us a lot of information about what the next steps will be.
Wednesday we are starting out with feast number one with the Cannon realatives. Should be delicious and fun. Mark and I will be bringing a veggie tray.
Thursday we are doing the first annual Miller Turkey Trot (I will most likely be walk/trotting as I have turned into a bit of a weakling lately). Why you ask will this trot be so momentous...we are going to the Turkey Trot as TURKEYS! We can't wait. ha. brown spandex = yes. If anyone has ideas for turkey outfit tips, please share.
Thursday night will be feast number TWO! Oh yes. More good food and good times, this time with the Omana relatives. Hopefully there will be a T-day movie in there sometime, too.
And then for Friday...what we've been waiting for in great anticipation. We will drive up to Jackson Hole early Friday morning and stay until Monday morning. We are going to celebrate our one year anniversary (can't believe it's been a year)! Thanks to expedia.com we've found a nice place that serves a free continental breakfast and has moderately hot showers!!! We can't wait!!!!
Anyway, we love you all and hope you know how thankful we are for each and every one of you this Holiday season. We hope everyone has a wonderful week, full of Thanksgiving, good food, good company and lots of relaxation.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Have fun you two! Way to use expedia, good find on the hotel. I can recall a certain Jackson Hole trip where hotel stay wasn't as easy to find. ;)

Good luck in the Turkey Trot, take lots of pictures!

Love,
Heath

To Heather's point...road trips are much more memorable if you just hit the highway and go...I did say memorable--which should not be misconstrued to mean "enjoyable". So, I guess that since you actually want to find a hotel/motel that will rent to you...follow your lame expedia plan. Enjoy your holiday week! Dad M p.s. Libby, we're looking forward to hearing some positive test results!
