Christmas/New Year's was really great.  Thanks so much Mom and Dad for treating us, and getting us all together.  Here are some highlights:
We started out with a SNAP.  Snaps was a fun game for everyone, although Heather didn't like it at times...
New Year's Day some people went on a snowshoe...
The boys.
The first competition: race to the car!  I guess Lib gave everyone a headstart.
And then she toppled Dad, in Heather's defense!
Heather Flying.
Ryan, really flying.
Ryan above the houses.
We all had a fun time just hanging out.  This was afterwards, but it fits.  Nice socks.
Charades was quite the event!  Not sure if Leanna is crying in defeat or what.
Again, Charades.  Quite fun.
Emily with her new gift.  Thanks to Mom and Dad, we all 'won' wonderful new Church stuff: books, CDs, calendars--even an Almanac!
Meanwhile, Leanna texted and talked away.  Nate, we wish you could have made it!  Next time.  Sounds like the dogs liked having you around though!
We had some great times skiing...especially at Wolf Mountain!!!  Okay, maybe not.  Here we are getting started at Snow Basin.
The mountain.
Sitting on the lift.
Dad in the Lodge, where Mom waited so patiently.
Mom reading.
She finished "The Good Earth" and "The Alchemist" on this trip.
Heather and Emily on the ride up.
Mark and Libby.
Emily, with a fake smile.
Ryan, focused.
Dad.  "Really?  We're going up this?"  Only surpassed by Emily's expression.
Nice bill.
Cruisin' down.
Family Pictures.

Thanks again Mom and Dad for making this happen!  What a great time.  Can't wait til we all get together again.

*Thanks Leanna and whoever else for some of these pictures.

Libby! Thanks for the terrific post and all the pictures. Could you please explain, however, why it was necessary to SLAM your father-in-law into a snowbank??? Huh, huh? Didn't know you had such pent-up agression, daughter?! I loved our time together and wouldn't change a thing. Thanks to ALL for a wonderful memory. Mom

First of all this AMAZING post was by Mark...thank-you sweet! Secondly, Pete - I wouldn't have to rough you up if you would stop harassing Heather! hahha.
Great trip, thanks so much mom and dad and everyone! It was great to be together.

Mark,

Thanks for the effort in posting all of these pictures! It was great spending time with all of you. Regardless of the activities, it was a blessing to be with you. I hope that we are fortunate to be able to do this again, regularly. Now, for some trash talking...I honestly don't recall how I end up bounced off the trail--I think I suffered a mild concussion after the fall (aided by a wild elbow). Next winter...revenge. The other memory that is a bit fuzzy is...how did I get down that mountain? You guys were very inconsiderate to coax me up that gondola. I am coveting the blues at Spirit Mountain. DAD

And super kudos to mom for hanging out in the ski lodge for two days in a row (was Wolf Mt really a lodge--or was it an Eden, UT teen center?). She was a super sport to allow us all to ski! Thanks to all of your for preparing such fine meals--nice work! I am thinking of a destination for next year...and snaps the name of the game, okay? DAD
