I watched "The Express" this past weekend (yes, I was left all alone at home with the dogs). I'd highly recommend the movie. It's the story of Ernie Davis, the first Black Heisman trophy winner--but as importantly, it's part of the history of race relations in our country--similar in message to Glory Road (another must see) and Remember the Titans. There are some additional powerful storylines in the movie--such as his early and losing battle with Leukemia. If you're looking for an inspirational story--or merely to reconnect with humanity--rent it! Love, Dad

can't wait for you to come out! unfortunately mom won't be able to accompany you!! guess bella is coming with after all! sounds like a good movie. i heard you all went to comedy sportz, too. that's funny.
I've wanted to see that movie....now I'll definitely have to see it. I love happy movies with strong stories! I guess most people love happy movies...well, except for Mark...he didn't like "the Christmas Shoes"...and that's a fabulous movie!!!!!!! hahaha.
....maybe Mark should try your 2nd favorite movie "the Christmas Blessing" he might like that a little better.
Okay, as a matter of full disclosure, I wouldn't label this movie as a happy movie...engaging, yes...inspirational, certainly. Happy--not so much. A solid story, even if you're not a football fan.
Mark, I don't go anywhere without Bella anymore.
