Cow Fest

So I hope all of you are looking forward to our little goodbye function for Lelers. Unfortunately I am feeling like going up the canyon for a BBQ might be the equivalent to dragging people to abalene.

Unfortunately the weather is predicted to be:

Rain Late
Overnight Low
47°F

Precip
70%

70% Chance of rain - that's not fun.  So this is what I propose Note  we are flexible if someone has other ambitions. (Leanna, I specifically want your opinion because this is going to be your last weekend in Provo)

I know this place called Dumplings and Hot Pot - it smells like a Tibetan restaurant. They make all different types of gyoza/Mo Mo's/pot stickers/dumplings (whatever you want to call them) They also do hot pot soup, which is supposed to be really good. I have never done the soup though.  Would people be up for some dumplings tonight, followed by some dessert at B-banks house?

I am totally up for something traditional as well... we can do anything: Chilis, Outback, the rio, brick oven (haha!) Anything, excited to spend time with all of you tonight.

I vote for the buffet at the Grand America. If we can't do that, I guess we can go to the hotpot place. It's really good-

We forgot about Chuck-a-Rama! Chuk-E-Cheese anyone? Ehhhh...then again, it is swine flu season. Better play it safe and avoid the Chuck places.

I'm up for the Dumplings Place...sounds really good. Dessert after? Sounds really fun!! I'm guessing I will be at the office till 6...if we go somewhere in SLC, you guys could pick me up on the way up...well, I can drive too...but you could meet me here at least...sounds great!! Keep me posted...

NO CHUCK places!!!!!! HAHAHAHA.

Man, you girls take the bait so easily. The Grand America's buffet costs like $75 a plate....:) Potsticker place is looking good

but where is it?

Leanna said...

HAHAHA!!! :)

Potsticker place is about a block and a half from where Mark and Libby live...I think it's next-door to the Goldsmith jewelry store. It would be a great experience - if Leanna is in, of course. There's always the Pennyroyal Cafe, which is very hip and up-and-coming.

Alright how is this for a potential plan:

Dinner 7:00? We will go to the dumpling place. It's a pretty low key place. Let's all meet outside Mark and Libby's and then we can all drive over together.

okay. I will throw in my two cents for Comedy Sportz. There you have it. Or howbout you break into a cabin at Sundance--you'll stay warm and make lots of memories. dad

That was so much fun last night! Thanks for everyone's contributions to the evening.

Watching the boys play basketball was a riot, Clay has some real moves. Ryan's ankle is a little swollen this morning. It's our own fault for not getting it checked out sooner.

We'll miss you Leanna. Travel safe.
