Nate & I had a chance to swing through Janesville on our way home from Chicago & were able to snap a few pictures of the old Hearthridge Drive Miller home. The trees are much bigger, but otherwise it looks pretty much the same as it did then! I was thinking about it on the drive home & I'm so grateful for all Mom & Dad have given us Miller kids. You really sacrificed a lot to give us a good childhood & provide for us. As we prepare to have our own family, I realize what a huge sacrifice parenthood will be & I'm so thankful for all you have given me, Mom & Dad.

I remember biking to this house as a little girl, the summer between 3rd & 4th grade, to see it's development as it was built. I loved that! I wish your new house was close enough that Nate & I could bike up there to see the progress...good times!
The funniest part about visiting the Hearthridge home was when Nate noticed the clothesline in the backyard: "Nice clothesline - did you guys not have a dryer?" hahahaha!!! Silly, Nate.
Anyway, I just wanted to say 'thanks' to Mom & Dad for all you've given us. Love you!!!

wow, so that is the place I've always heard about. Thanks for posting Leanna...great house!
.....yeah except there's no washer or dryer!!
hahaha!!!!!!!! NATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I know why Leanna loves using the washing machine so much...she used to have to scrub everything by hand!!
OOOOOOOOOH!!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha. I was just laughing loudly at my desk! I love my husband. Hilarious!
Nate,
You'll be happy to know that a clothsline is in the plans for the new house. We had room for a basketball hoop or a clothsline--and the "let's go natural" clothsline won out. Al Gore would be so proud of us. I would have expected that you being a Chicago/Obama guy that you'd be all over clothslines--but no, you mock and ridicule.
hahahaha, nice comeback! thank you, dad!!!! :) I love it!!!
I remember catching fireflies in the back yard of your house...we didn't really have fireflies up in Waunakee and I insinuated from that Janesville was really far south...I also think I had a crush on one of your neighbors, probably really impressed her with the zoobas pants I wore during our visit.
hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!! that's great! thanks for sharing, dave!
