#8....still looking great!

Dad ran his 8th marathon on Sunday morning....and (as always) finished strong and looking good. Dad never looks worn out after these races....always happy & looking really strong!!

This was a fun race to watch - a little chilly - but overall good weather. I love watching marathons - there's just such a great energy & excitement - and I always feel so proud of the runners, knowing how incredibly dedicated and determined they are - and the races never get any easier. It's an incredible accomplishment for Dad...and as always, I'm very impressed.

I thought it was funny when we saw him at mile 16 and he requested a Coke...so, at mile 20, he downed a nice cold Coca-Cola before finishing the last 6.2! So funny!!

He finished great - along with Uncle Mike & Stephanie - all great runners!!

I always feel so proud of Dad, watching him in these great events! He is such a great & motivating example to me of dedication, preparation, strength, and positive energy! I remember the first time I watched Dad in a marathon - and I felt so proud & impressed that "that's my dad!!"  - I still feel that way today. Such an athlete.

Way to go, Dad!! You continue to inspire me. Congrats on a great race. So glad we could cheer you on.

Great pics le! St. Paul is so beautiful, it looks like it was the perfect day for a race. That's hillarious about the Coke. Talk about a craving, I think it runs in the Miller blood - i can recall Mark getting random cravings for a coke. Emily, Leanna? Any of you guys get coke cravings?

hahahaha!!! so funny. hmmm- I don't think I get Coke cravings (especially when running) - but it IS my top soda-choice. Especially these days. I don't drink much caffeine anymore - so when I do have a cold Coke, I really love it! I was so worried Dad was going to get sick from it...6.2 miles with a Coke in the system - glad it worked out for him! haha!
