Okay it's official Charles Barkley just declared the L.A Lakers done. Of all the playoff games, the Celtics/Heat series is the matchup to watch. What has happened to the West, steerug! [Speaking of Charles, he is hilarious, did any of you guys catch him talking about wearing short sleeve dress shirts under his suits?] I had to call Ryan at school, I was rolling. Kenny told Charles to take off his jacket, and he was in this short sleeve dress shirt. He really did look like a school teacher. Kenny was like, "I saw him in the dressing room and I just couldn't resist showing all of you!" I guess Charles has 5 different colors of short sleeve shirts. I love non-scripted dialogue on tv. I am just barely realizing why people like Charles... I've been living under a rock all this time. [Part of me is thinking I need to move back under that rock. Watching all these basketball games is probably not setting the best example for Mr! I only watch them when I really need a pick me up]
If you guys missed game 1 it was a doozy. Paul Pierce ejected (what did you guys think about that?) Lelers, what do you think of that West character? Not a fan, goodness - all those missed dunks, and such poor taste in tattoos. Poor Kevin Garnett, I felt bad for him, rough night for him. Paul Pierce . . . not so good towards the end there. Loved that dunk from Lebron! Anyways, it was time for a new post, so here you have it, my random thoughts about game one. This is going to be a battle!

Heather I would watch what I say about Mr. West, he's a bad Mojo. Arrested driving a motorcycle going 100mph while carrying a guitar case on his back loaded with multiple firearms.....plus he is clinically crazy, but he does have a mean cross over dribble!!
Also, to give some props to my wife....she actually picked Memphis to beat the Spurs!!! Unfortunately her all knowing husband (me) told her that an 8 seed never beats a one seed and thus changed her pick for her...oooops!! Oh well, next time I will let her make her picks with out chiming in.
everything was working for the heat - i'm guessing game two will go to the celtics, and game three. game four - heat, game five and six, heat. done and done.
as much as i love the celtics, this could be the end for them...
I hope Mark is wrong...but the Heat do have home court advantage...so, as much as I hope the Celtics win this one, the Heat look good.
The clip of Charles and his short sleeve shirt was HILARIOUS!!!!!!!! I loved when they were all sticking their pens in his pocket! He looked so silly....but I love that he admitted to buying 5 of them!!!!! AHHHHAHAHA! I love the banter between those guys. They are outstanding and always get us laughing!!!!
I can't believe Pierce was ejected....bad call, ref. That was crazy. I hope PP, Ray Allen, KG and Rondo can won this series...oh and West is NASSSTY!!!!!! yuck yuck yuck. Not a fan of that scary man!!!!

Awwwww! I just saw the blog header!! So sweet...I hope she is here soon!!! Funny story: we wrote on the girls' chalkboard yesterday "welcome home, little sis." and Adelie added a little coloring.....well, today when we were getting ready for the day, Adelie used a diaper wipe to erase most of the message!!!!!! Hahahaha! Maybe she's not quite ready for a sister?!!!! So funny!
Lelers, you are unreals with your picks! That would have been crazy if you called that upset. Wow, crazy story about West and the motorcycle. You never know with those guys, apparently the bird man is supposed to be this really nice guy and he looks like the creepiest guy in the NBA - so just had to ask. Sounds like our gut was right on the money with that guy.
SO glad someone else saw that half time show where Kenny put the pens in Charles short sleeve shirt - that really did have me rolling. Those guys really are always good for a laugh. I'm always disappointed when I"m not watching the games on TNT and it's the other guys. I know they are good, but you just never know what Charles is going to say about stuff!
Charles is comical--no filters, no sugar coating. Hopefully the Celtics can tie the series tonight!
