Isn't Salt lake just so beautiful? I love Mount Olympus, I have to confess I love it more then Timp. I was born in Salt lake, and I attended a majority of my elementary school years in Salt Lake.
13.1 Miles... well folks I did it! I had one goal during the race: "stay positive." I just don't want to get in the mode of being negative in these events. Honestly, the last mile I honestly was talking to myself out loud saying, "You can do It!" Keep going heath, keep going! Everyone around me was just walking so it was hard to motivate myself everyone was staring, and to be honest, by butt hurt more than anything after the end of that.
Well, Ryan and I are off to the barbecue.

Cograts! That's great news. Way to keep that positive attitude. That's a tough distance...I am sure that you'll be sore in the morning--but you hung in there and beat the course!
