Flowers!

Today was a wonderful day! I woke up to one of the best things you can wake up to--


FLOWERS!!

Okay, so that makes it sound like some wonderful secret admirer of a man dropped off a beautiful bouquet of flowers for me while professing his love (or something like it)....but that was not the case. I had my first lab for floral design today, and it was wonderful!! :) The actual lab was just a lesson as to how to wrap flowers (a necessary thing when you're making bouquets), but because of this, we got to pick out flowers and arrange them as we pleased...it is much more difficult than I had expected, BUT I prevailed & did my best. I'm pretty proud of my skills considering I am an amateur...but you all can be the judge! Remember: it is my very first bouquet ever & I picked out all the flowers, colors, etc....so be nice.
