Hello!!

Hello Family! I hope you're all doing well...it has been a very busy week for me, & I'm glad to have the Sabbath day tomorrow to rest a bit. Hopefully Dad & Libby will have wonderful celebrations for their birthdays!! Birthdays are always fun!! Anyways, I thought I'd post this little poem....apparently this one is by Mother Teresa but the original came from someone else. Joe read it to me the other night and I LOVED it, & then last night I was mentioning it to Leanna. Joe and I talked about it for a while, just what we thought the main points of it were, but I thought I'd put it on the blog for the whole family to enjoy and contemplate. For me it was a great reminder to live and live well this life we are blessed with. I think the last two stanzas (?) sum it up the best. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Do It Anyway - Mother Teresa

People are often unreasonable, illogical,

and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, People may accuse you
of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some
false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank,
people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone
could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness,
they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today,
people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have,
and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis,
it is between you and God;

It was never between you and them anyway...

I love you all - I hope you're all doing well where you are! Mom 'n Pop--post some pictures of your trip! Ry & Heath--post something on here! Mark & Lib--you too! Leanna--good job!

love you! -embug

Emily--good selection! I didn't know that Mother Theresa was a writer. Regardless of the source, this is really good advice for all of us! Thanks again! Dad
