A few goals...

So...I've been thinking...

I have a few goals for this next holiday season and upcoming year.
These are all in preliminary stages. Obviously they cannot ALL be accomplished at once, and there are many more important goals to spend my time pursuing, but these are some of the things I want to improve upon!

Learn how to bake really really well!

Learn how to quilt!

Learn how to make REAL meals for cheap, instead of eating spaghetti every night of my life (besides cereal)--especially including learning how to make good veggies that I won't mind eating

Get back into drawing so I am comfortable with it again and could pursue painting as well!

So....these are all creatively based goals. I have many other goals as well, but, if anyone wants to tackle one of them with me (or even give me any pointers or direction) I would love it!!

Nice post, Emily. Perhaps you can track down a few recipes for real food and mom and I can help you with them while you are home. Find a few more for baked goods--that would be fun to try in Ogden. I spent six month in Idaho Falls on my mission and only remember eating spaghetti (with a can of corn thrown in)--I am not sure what you find wrong with a steady diet of spaghetti?!? Dad

I posted a comment last night...and it must have disappeared!! Weird.

I think these are great goals, Emily! I think you should have mom teach you how to quilt...I'd love to learn to quilt baby blankets...

I'll draw/paint with you anytime you want. I love love love drawing!! That would be really fun.

I think bucky must have swallowed an acorn (or, even better, a buckeye).

Ha, no chance of the buckeye thing...we're not very fearsome lately.
Em great post. I like your goals, they're exciting. Can you please draw a picture of Libby for me...the one she got me was, well, not up to par with her beauty.
I'm a-okay with learning how to quilt over break. Sounds like a blast

Someone should let that thing loose in the seminoles locker room before the game...

Whats with the love for TEXAS?

Lockerroom?

Heck, our defense is sufficiently suspect that we could use him on the field--bad bucky will be our
12th man...sneak him in there...right next to the nose tackle. The Noles are going down!

Congrats! The semester is over and you all survived/thrived! You've all earned a couple of weeks off. Relax. Recharge. Mom and I look forward to seeing you soon! Love, Dad
