First sign of Spring

In the upper Midwest, we all know that the first sign of spring is the arrival of the first Robin. Well, that's unless you live on a lake.

The first sign of spring here is that the ice houses are taken off the lake. You don't have to belong to the Sierra Club to know that having a collection of ice houses sink to the bottom of the lake can't be a good thing. I am pleased to announce that the DNR deadline for moving the ice houses off the lake and into spring/summer/fall storage is...drum roll please...tomorrow (March 7). So, spring is right around the corner (once the 2-3 feet of ice melts)!!

Has anyone seen my wife lately?

Petes, good to see that we have officially announced Spring. Is there anything else you would like to announce? You guys from the sounds of it are pretty busy.

Heather, I don't do important announcements...just fluff.
